About CI-Announce	English (USA)
This is a mailing list dedicated to global announcements of events in the Contact Improvisation community. Please post announcements which would be of wide interest in the contact community - stuff that is only relevant to your immediate jam folk should go to your jam's list. (If you don't have a list, you can make one of your own at http://contactimprov.net/, for listings of regional jams, current events, background, and so forth...) Using CI-Announce
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ci-announce@python.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to CI-Announce
Subscribe to CI-Announce by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a public list, which means that the list of members list is available to everyone. (but we obscure the addresses so they are not easily recognizable by spammers). (Note that this is an umbrella list, intended to have only other mailing lists as members. Among other things, this means that your confirmation request will be sent to the `-owner' account for your address.) Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
