So everybody understands... Daniel is crafting press releases for
PyCon that will get scooped up by the press in general.  He's finding
ways to catch the eyes of editors etc. - people who may or may not
know Python from PL/1.  A "major new release" should sound like big,
newsworthy news to them... except they'll want to know, "OK, new
release, why is that important?"

Thanks, Daniel, for pursuing this.  He asked me first and I confess I
drew a blank.  "You upgrade things!  It's just what you do, like
building bypasses!"
