[python-advocacy] how many python users are there?

I need a figure for a report.  Anybody got anything that is recent 
and quotable?  Python users europe-wide and world-wide are most useful,
but if you happen to have a very accurate one for some place else,
I can use that too.


(Hmmm. its late.  I phrased that wrongly.  300 of you will all say
that you have the most accurate figure that python is used by
'one person at my house'.  I am too tired to rewrite the above.
You knew what I meant. :-) )
