Especially when the function description is also shown as a tooltip. So, I was looking for something like that in emacs.

Anand Balachandran Pillai <abpillai@gmail.com> wrote:
Isn't M-x dabbrev-expand good enough ?

On Fri, May 16, 2008 at 12:08 AM, Prashanth <munichlinux@gmail.com> wrote:
> Hi nishith
>
> On Thu, May 15, 2008 at 11:52 PM, Nishith Nand <nishith_n@yahoo.com> wrote:
>> Hi!
>>
>> Has anyone been able to get auto completion going in emacs python mode?
>> I tried using rope and ropemacs but could not get it to load and run
>>
