Studio is only one component of ActiveGrid, I believe they are still committed to Python on the ActiveGrid Server product. In fact they are even a PSF sponsor. The Studio used to be based on wxPython but the article states they are switching it over to Eclipse - which means it would be an Eclipse plug-in.
