What I'm used to is "sudo apt-get install mysql python-django python-django-registration python-pip; sudo pip install django-haystack" <br><br>The equivalent instructions for OSX always seem to be much more obtuse, and I wonder if I'm just missing the "easy way" to do it. Any time someone writes instructions that involve manually building and symlinking into /usr/local, I start to get suspicious about my ability to upgrade and maintain whatever I'm working with. <br>
