Abstract:<br>
Linux Desktop Testing Project (LDTP) developed as a python library, to<br>
do GUI automation on Unix platform (Linux/Solaris/FreeBSD) running GNOME<br>
>= 2.6. LDTP works on top of accessibility layer. Will briefly discuss<br>
about different ways of developing / executing the tests. Recently the<br>
client LDTP framework has been ported to Windows platform, so the same<br>
test scripts can be executed, as long as the UI widgets are same.<br>

Nagappan Alagappan has been working on software development and test<br>
automation since 2000. Currently he is the Workstation automation lead<br>
@VMware. Previously he worked in Novell., Inc. Creator of Linux Desktop<br>
Testing Project (LDTP in short), a GUI automation library written in<br>
Python. Contributed to many FOSS projects (Mono <a href="http://ADO.NET" target="_blank">ADO.NET</a>, Evolution QA,<br>
Mozilla Firefox QA, Mago desktop testing, Clonezilla).<br>
