I am not trying to discourage you from presenting Perl. Just try
putting it into context. Remember the crowds reaction when Guido
said, "Perl is not that bad." Are you going for the shock value or do
you really want to show us something?
I think we should always use the right hammer for a job. In one case
I found Perl was a better hammer for a particular task. Although now
I can not read what I wrote, the idea is to use the right tool for
the job. In fact, this basis is what lead me to Python; I was looking
for the right tool for a job.
