In case anyone cares to see an existing discussion of the various properties of collaborative editors, my friend Aza wrote a blog post on MoonEdit a while back. The resulting comment thread incorporated several of the (then) existing collaborative editors. Especially our feeling regarding MoonEdit as an incredibly awesome collaboration tool, because it is so amazingly simple.
