Come to Earthdance for a little mid-winter fun and some rekindling of your creative juices! Back for a third year by popular demand, this is a lovely opportunity to taste test a variety of classes by local teachers in improvisation, movement arts, somatics, and performance composition. The weekend includes several classes of your choice and evening activities, with plenty of time built in to take deep breaths, walk along snowy paths, and thaw out in the sauna.

This class will introduce ways of sensing proximity. Through heightening alternate senses, most particularly sensing electro magnetic fields, we will navigate both intimate and geographic space. Imagine how flocking birds are in unimaginable proximity to one another and yet they do not collide-this is what we will aim for- the ability to move freely through space sensing one another without fear.
