</blockquote><div>For reference, packages made with flit do use 'Provides' to indicate the name of the importable module or package that the distribution installs. This seems to me to be something worth exposing - in another thread, we're discussing downloading and scanning packages to get this information. But I accept that it's not very useful while only a tiny minority of packages do it.<br></div>
