followed the various examples and failed miserably.<br>

have had the same problem.<br>

<font size="+2">I've found Mike Driscoll's <a
href="http://www.blog.pythonlibrary.org/2012/07/09/python-201-an-intro-to-distutils/">tutorial</a>
the best I've come across so far, but I'm not out o<font
size="+2">f</font> the woods yet.<br>
