Most people here in italy work on *python-friendly* companies and would never come outside weekends. This year we tryied to have the opening on friday and we had less then the half presence.<br>
<br>I also agree that EP has a smaller percentage of hobbists and i feel very confortable that the main reason is that it's during the week and not on weekends. Personally i thinks that mixing in-week and weekend days would catch more attendees, but maybe it's not the main purpose.<br>
