Or I was waiting for Guido to do it for me.  ;-)

OK, OK: the real reason is that I ran out of steam.  I had *just* enough
energy for this project to get Optik 1.3 documented and out the door,
and that was it.  Also, I was on holiday and off the 'net for the second
half of April, so completely lost track of what's been going on on
python-dev.

I guess it's time to finish the job and come up with a plan for adding
Optik to the standard library.  See my next post...
