font-family:Arial'>I’m working on a WinXP machine and I have a pixel
array that’s in 16bit RGB444 format (from a Nokia S60 phone), which I’ve
been trying to use PIL to save it off as a TIFF file. Of course this
format is not supported in unpack.c and so far I’ve tried the following:<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

16bit formats, such as RGB555 and RGB565. Does anyone know if there is a
good way to handle non-standard display formats with PIL? Perhaps I
