<div dir="ltr">Hi All,<div>        I want to give you all an update on progress we have made so far in Pycon India 2018.</div><div><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Ticket Sales have started and sold out on early bird; student & regular tickets are selling very fast .</li><li style="margin-left:15px">CFP </li><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Received more than 130+ proposal and continues.</li><li style="margin-left:15px">1st July is the deadline for submitting CFPs, please spread the word. </li><li style="margin-left:15px">Initiated Mentors for CFP.</li></ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Sponsor</li><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">We have got 3 Platinum, 4 Gold & 2 Silver sponsors confirmed. </li></ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Social</li><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Increased followers & traffic to website are high</li></ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Logistics</li><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Travel & accomadation of speakers & guests [In progress]</li><li style="margin-left:15px">T-shirts Design, Banner, printing etc [yet to start]</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Video capture, AV equipment [Yet to start]</li></ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Finance</li><ul><li style="margin-left:15px"><font color="#ff0000">PSSI is closing from 7th Jul and will No longer be able to support finance management for Pycon</font>. For more details on the reason, please reach out to PSSI board members.</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Alternative finance management options are being looked at the moment. </li><li style="margin-left:15px">Options</li><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Work with another Legal Entity - NGO/Company etc.</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Form another Legal Entity and subsequently allow it to manage funds.</li></ul></ul></ul></div><div>Organzing Pycon India continues to be challenge however I assure you that the 10th year event of Pycon India will happen and HydPy team will make sure it's a grand success.  </div><div><br></div><div>Please share you thoughts & I will be monitioring this thread. </div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div>Mani</div><div>Chair@Pycon India 2018</div></div>
