I had a very good conversation with Jacob Kaplan-Moss at PyCon UK. He is keen to see Django running on IronPython and *very* willing to accept patches / bug reports. If there are fundamental difficulties (like the unicode / str) issue then he will even look at how Django can change to work with IronPython.<br>
