I see the issue with the constructor logic ... <br>For your question on "only happens on the first import": I am no expert on the importer system, path_hooks ... and am not sure on some of the constraints and states of that system. For the same Engine/PythonContext it looks like only the first .NET import causes the exceptions (see attached source file) while subsequent imports seem to work without exceptions.</p><p>As far as I understand once instantiated the `zipimport` is kept around and does not need to be constructed again?
