[portland] Need Help With a For Loop

   Kirby told me he didn't understand why each curve was not plotted
separately. I've attached a couple of examples to illustrate the output. I
still need to tweak the plotting code to change the shape of the plot,
remove the frame but use the left and bottom axes, and add text to each one.
But, this gives you the idea.
