Hey Pythoneers!
It's time again for another installment of the Portland Python User Group.
Tonight we have an amazing lineup of speakers prepared to share their
knowledge about Python Extensions. There's a ton to cover, so we're actually
going to start at 6:30. Seriously!
Case Van Horsen will start us off with a talk about optimizing C Extensions.
Joel Bernstein has volunteered to cover ctypes for this month's module.
Brett Carter is going to show us how to extend Python using Fortran (yes,
Fortran! Cool!). Rounding out the evening, John Melesky will present the
secrets of extending Python using OCaml.
Following the meeting, I would venture a guess that we'll find our way to
Bailey's Taproom (on SW Broadway at Ankeny) to discuss Extensions and other
Python-related topics.
All are welcome! Won't you join us?
Hope to see you there,
Michelle
