[Pycon2005-attendees] Announcing Availability of Track 1 and 2 Audio Recordings for PyCon 2005

The audio recordings of track 1 (1st floor auditorium, best sound), and
track 2 (ballroom, medium sound) are now available at:

     http://www.pycon.org/talks

in a searchable fashion, in Ogg Vorbis format and some in .mp3 format,
along with their presentation materials so you can follow along. The
audio files have been tagged with MP3/Ogg/Flac ID3 information about
each talk.

The recordings are unlocked by my uploading a scanned release form, and
there is a handful of talks for which I don't have releases. If anyone
can help me reach the authors that show up when you do a query for
"Release-Unknown" using the web interface, I'd appreciate it and we will
all benefit.

Audio recordings of track 3 are still being processed, as that room had
the worst sound quality and I'm trying to improve the quality. I hope
to have them up in a few days, especially since that room is where the
lightning talks took place.

I am announcing this initially only to the attendees list, to try to
avoid a slashdot/flash crowd problem. We have webalizer-based graphs of
pycon.org traffic and as soon as it peaks and begins to decline, I'll
send a notice to the python-announce list.
