How do you convert an absolute path anyway?
PosixPath(NTPath("C:\winnt\system")) => ??
NTPath(PosixPath("/mnt/cdrom") => ??
You can convert them to "/winnt/system" and "\mnt\cdrom", but what's
the point? They won't exist anyway.
