.0a3 to .0a4 to .0b1.

I do not know how to run 2to3 and do not remember trying to do so.
pickle.load(...) failed saying that the underlying read failed to 
product bytes.  So I deleted it.  I regard it as an unaccounted for and 
possible obsolete glitch.
