[Python-Dev] sre improvements

Hi there!!

I have looked into sre, and was wondering if somebody is
working to implement more features in it.

I'd like, for example, to see the (?(1)blah) operator,
available in perl, working.

Should I care about this? Should I write some code??

Anybody working in sre currently?
