[Python-Dev] Now test_socket fails

  Er, I'm not sure that was such a good idea. This doesn't work on
linux and shouldn't. It never worked that way in 2.2 I'm not sure what
happened to make it work in 2.3. Was prior to my adding the timeout
socket changes.
