Thanks  I'll update my builds to do that.

I call distutils to get some information for CFLAGS and include dirs.  
I'll look at what I get back for
libs and update my build script.

All my code is C++ and in the past distutils lacked C++ support so I  
could not use it and have develoer
my own solution to the build problem.

Does distutils work for C++ code these days?
