Python on IA64 / Porting Issues

Hi @ll,

I'm right now in the process of porting python to IA64 on HP-UX and I
already got it running on the simulators AND real hardware.

I'm sure I'm not the only one "out there" ;-)

Is anyone interested in exchanging experiences? All additional pointers
are very welcome! I also detected some non-portable code sequences - and
don't know where to announce them.
