<p>These are provided currently for those wishing to test the new python
packages for systems using RPM package
<br>management, running Gnu/Linux. These packages are based on Oliver Andrich's
packages, which were originally put together and built
<br>for Redhat 5.2 systems. These have been updated to install and run
on Mandrake 6.0 systems, and were compiled using the gcc 2.95.1
<br>compiler. They should also build under Redhat 6, but I haven't yet
tested this.
