What <b class="moz-txt-star"><span class="moz-txt-tag">*</span>should<span class="moz-txt-tag">*</span></b> I be looking for (other than Python itself)?  What's interesting, 
widely applicable, and new(ish)?

Falcon fails my personal book-by-its-cover test.  There are too many languages
to do without that test, unfortunately.
