Pymacs has not had much love and affection for a while. I wonder if
these two projects aren't worth rolling into one, and a few of us
newbies can take a turn updating the code. I'm not an expert at python
or emacs, but they are already my two favorite tools, so I would love
to see a more robust interaction between the two. I would be glad to
help out as much as I am able.

Every time I've asked this question in #emacs, the majority swear by
the info pages in emacs. Apparently it is the best intro to elisp
anywhere. (I would be happy for someone to disagree.)
