[Pythonmac-SIG] Launching wxPython from 2.2.2

OK, I give up.

I installed wxPython 2.3.3.1 after confirming Python 2.2.2 was 
working. I tried to run the demo after getting rid of all the 
non-2.2.2 Python stuff I could find.

Double-clicking the demo.py file in wxPython originally said there 
was no file association. I created one with PythonInterpreter in 
2.2.2. I get an error on launch that says "This is not a script. It 
is probably an auxiliary Python file such as an application template 
or a preference file." So I tried associating it with PythonIDE. 
PythonIDE launches correctly but I get a dialog that says Can't open 
file of type ".

What do I do now?
