I suspect it will happen like last year -- after submissions are closed 
we'll discuss the proposals both individually and collectively, and 
through some informal process decide on several proposals, taking into 
account the mentor, proposal, and general usefulness of the project to 
the Python community.  We'll know we've got a decision when no one has 
any objections or unresolved concerns about the decision.

I doubt we'll rely on any scoring system or voting to make the final 
decision.  A mentor's preference will probably get the most priority, 
because that person is going to be investing the most amount of time in 
the resulting project.
