[Soc2006] Simple programming app.

Hello

I am interested in making a simple IDE, and set of libraries to help children and teenagers learn to program in python. I have write a specification at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/simple-prog-app. I intend to apply to Ubuntu for this project, but they have informed me that it would be low priority.

Can I also apply for python.org to mentor the project.
