I must admit that I'm skeptical about this project. AFAIU, you have been
working on this for quite some time now, so (as you say), the work you
are proposing to do is already done. Yet, you have kept the code secret
in all this time, for reasons I can only guess.

I don't think it's the objective of the Summer of Code to just release
existing work.
