Initial Comment:
I'm running Outlook 2002 SP3 on Windows XP.  When processing even just one spam message Outlook seems to hang for minutes.  Sometimes it won't respond at all and I have to kill it.  The log keeps showing the message:

pythoncom error: Python error invoking COM method.

It used to work really well for me, not sure what happened.

Same problem with Outlook 2000. System dives into a hole. But process
monitor shows low utilization. Suspect it is disk activity.
