Damn, what a brilliant-- yet obvious <wink> --idea.  Thanks, Neil!  I'm
pretty fried.  It will be interesting to see whether it finds any more of
these.  The all-default scheme, and a few more steps in Gary's scheme (which
I haven't checked in yet -- more later) seem to zero in on these without
much trouble.  But it is an iterative process, and after 3 rounds of it I'm
ready to make the 4th the last ...
