[Spambayes] Outlook Express question

If you are able to configure this mean your proxy is running.
Now your proxy is running (this is localhost) and it communicate through
port 8880 for its web page and proxy pop communication through port
8890. (As you say below).

You can check if you proxy does its job.
Go to your browser and type for url: telnet://localhost:8890
You should have see a window opening with this line in it or something
similar.

If you get this then your pop3proxy is proxying and OE is not configured
properly and I can help you with that.
YOu have to go to the configuration page of the pop3proxy and set
the Remote server to pop.yourIsp.com
