Hmmm...  When you say "false positives" do you mean ham erroneously
classified as spam?  That's the textbook definition.  When you say "few
false positives", how many do you mean?  Several per day?  Once a week?
Once in a blue moon?  How many messages (ham and spam) have you trained on?
What are your ham and spam cutoffs set to?

By it's very nature, spam tends to be all over the map featurewise, so is
someone harder to classify accurately than ham.  Most people participate in
a few well-defined online communities, so identifying ham accurately is
generally easier.

You should see false positives once in a blue moon and false negatives more
frequently.

P.S.  It's been a *long* time (40 years or so), but I have found memories of
visiting my aunt and uncle in Balboa.  Fishing for smelt off the dock or
halibut in the ocean, swimming in the bay, or just hanging out.  I don't
suppose the old arcade is still there?  Ah, the nickels we would waste...
