[Spambayes] outlook web access while 'out of office'

Normally when I connect to my Outlook email using the Outlook web
interface (OWA) I 
am grateful to see SpamBayes Addin automatically work its magic and spam
are nicely 
dealt with.  However, I have noticed that when 'Out of Office' is
enabled then SpamBayes 
does not run and my Inbox runneth over when I connect via OWA.  Is that
to be expected 
or will an upgrade or workaround help?
