[Spambayes] "no filterable mail items are selected"

Is this an issue with Outlook just not refreshing itself? For example,
if you click on a message as Spam, then click a different message or
folder, then it moves?

I'm sure this has been addressed, but I've searched high and low for a
resolution but have been unable to find one.  One of our users, when
selecting a mail item to mark as spam(or recover from spam, if such is
the case)  has to click the mail twice.  The first time...nothing
happens.  The second time, the item goes where it's supposed to, but
delivers a "no filterable mail items" error message.  The user is using
Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP SP3 machine.  The logfile:
