[Spambayes] HOW DO I SET UP PORTS FOR MULTIPLE SERVERS?

Since (by convention) the hosts filename does not include an extension,
Windows is not sure how to open it. (Don't get me going on the
foolishness of relying on a file's name to tell you how to process it.)
The file is text, though, so you can open it with Notepad, WordPad, or
any other text editor.

OK, thanks I found a file named hosts. There's also one
named IMHosts. Now that I found it, what do I do?
When I try to open it, I'm told to choose the program I want
to use to open it.

The hosts file on Windows is
%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts, where
%WINDIR% is most commonly c:\windows.

Try replacing it with "127.0.0.1". Alternatively, check the
hosts file
on
your computer to make sure it has a definition for
localhost. (I'm not
a
Windows person, so I can't begin to guess where that might
be.) I've
