[Spambayes] Stops working

All of a sudden, both on my home computer and at my office, SpamBayes has
stopped working and the toolbar has disappeared, leaving only a
nonfunctioning button saying SpamBayes. The program folder has only
shortcuts. When I tried to download and reinstall it at work, I still
couldn't recover the toolbar. Has it been attacked by a virus? How can I
recover this useful tool?
