For future reference, the spambayes at python.org mailing list is more active
and is geared more toward people using SpamBayes.  The spambayes-dev mailing
list is for discussions of development of SpamBayes.

That said, I'm not sure what we can do without some more detailed
information about what the error was and what (if anything) SpamBayes might
have saved in a log file.  Unfortunately, I use neither the pop3 proxy nor
Windows so I haven't a clue where to tell you to look for any log files
SpamBayes might have left.  (We really should add this information to the
FAQ.)
