Hi, <br>
<br>
My name is Justin McGrew, I am a senior at California State
University Sacramento. I am a Computer Science major and will be
graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in December. I was interested in
porting the standard library modules implemented in C to Python. I am
posting to see if anyone else has expressed interest in this and what
other details for the project might be available. <br>

<p>Jython, <a href="http://wiki.python.org/moin/IronPython">IronPython</a>,
and <a href="http://wiki.python.org/moin/PyPy">PyPy</a>
all require standard library modules to be written in pure Python;
porting C-based standard library modules to Python helps them. </p>
