Carpooling is a great idea; sometimes the road trip is just as fun as
the conference when you're going with a carload of fellow attendees.
So far nobody stepped forward to coordinate carpooling. I'm not sure
what the best approach might be...in the past I've seen this done via
email to the local user group list.
Here's another idea: I'm collecting attendee zip codes in the
registration form. We could sort these and send email to clusters of
folks in neighboring to introduce them to one another. Anyone want to
volunteer to handle that?
