<div>Thanks for your response. You are correct, under Windows the cursor='@path/to/file.ext' technique works as expected. I had tried that, but from within IDLE (Python 2.7) this syntax raises an exception. Using this technique in scripts running from the command line (outside of IDLE) works well.</div>
