That's why I'd prefer to have this regex covered by test cases. Preferably in Roundup codebase itself, so that pydotorg won't have to deal with burden of maintaining this pile of hacks.

Can you be more specific about the problem? It is too abstract to see the exact cause.

Where are they converted?
When URLs are converted to links?
When revision numbers are converted?
Which rule is taken priority and where it is decided?
