Yes, pretty vague, because I don't have the full details on the
problems he's having. He's an end user of the program and know little
about Python. I'm trying to get more details. I do have a screen dump
of his first problem with plotmatlib. There's a place where I can post
it I think, but forgotten or misplaced the url to do it.<br>

In a post to another group, I was told one had to do more than just
install 2.4 and 2.5 to operate them both, or even one of them. <br>
<br>
I'll be back in a few hours. Got a lot of property work to do this
morning.<br>

He should be able to have both 2.4 and 2.5 on one machine. Using numpy
or matplotlib should not cause trouble, unless you mean he is having
trouble with numpy and matplotlib.
"Lots of trouble" is pretty vague. Perhaps you should start here:
