On 25-Jul-1997 I decommissioned the cc-mode-victims@python.org mailing list. CC Mode is now standard with both Emacs and XEmacs, and I am seeing much more discussion of CC Mode on the general GNU newsgroups/mailing lists than I am on this list. I think at this point in the package's life, this is most appropriate. I thank everyone who's helped me improve CC Mode, I couldn't have done it without you. I hope you'll continue to contribute your good ideas even without this mailing list. Feel free to continue sending bug reports, suggestions, etc. to cc-mode-help@python.org. I will make announcements of new releases on the following newsgroups: gnu.emacs.sources, comp.emacs, comp.emacs.xemacs. I may also add some relevent language oriented newsgroups. Those of you who cannot or do not read Usenet can subscribe to the cc-mode-announce@python.org list, which I keep active for new release announcements only. Send the word `subscribe' in the body of a message to cc-mode-announce-request@python.org Don't forget, for more information see the CC Mode web page at: The old archives of this list are still available via email. Send the message `help' to majordomo@python.org for details. -Barry
