Review and opinions about new Exclude Suggestions

Hello, because of issue #2307 I decided to improve the behavior of how BIT does handle default exclude entries. The feature is still a pending PR but I prepared two screenshots and would like to have some feedback from you. <https://github.com/bit-team/backintime/pull/2309#issuecomment-3647038008> Now there is no simple default list of files/dirs/pattern to exclude but a list of suggested files/dirs/pattern. That list also now has a description for each of that entries to make it easier for the user to judge if it is useful or not. Not all entries in the list are selected by default. Only a subset of entries is selected by default, also depending on the mode (user or root) BIT is running. That is why there are two screenshots. Thanks for your feedback. Christian

Why "decode" SSH-EncFS but not local-EncFS?

Hi there, I need some help in untying a knot in my head. I am not a regular user of the encryption feature. I understand that EncFS somehow scramble/hash all names of files and directories. BIT offers a "decode" feature to make the log file readable and convert the scrambled paths into there original names. What I do not understand is that this decode (a checkbox in the bottom of the Log View dialog) is offered only for SSH-Encfs profiles but not for local-Encfs. When viewing the log for a local-Encfs backup the paths are already human readable in not scrambled. But in the filesystem the paths are scrambled. It seems that decoding is already done in local-Encfs but not in SSH-Encfs. Why? Is there a good reason to have that separated behavior? Thanks Christian
